Celebrating Earth Day with Liina Klauss: From Trash to Art

Meet Liina Klaus, a German artist known for her striking art crafted from discarded sandals found on beaches worldwide. From Hong Kong to Bali, she brings these forgotten items to life in beautiful installations.

A few years ago, Liina created a Yin Yang artwork next to our store in Echo Beach, Canggu, marking our initial collaboration. In that piece, she used old sneaker soles, representing our then-new technology of recycling them into new Indosole sandal soles.

Our Earth Day collaboration with Liina highlighted our dedication to the environment. We gathered various objects from Nyanyi Beach, and Liina utilized old sandals to create a powerful reminder of our planet's fragility.

This effort echoes our work at Indosole, where we turn old sandals into new footwear - RIVERSOLE to reduce ocean pollution. Let's keep pushing for a cleaner planet. Happy Earth Day! 🌎🌍🌏
