We've mentioned that we are certified B-Corp but what exactly does that mean and why are we so proud to be part of this group of businesses that includes Ben&Jerry's and Patagonia?
B-Corp certification are given to companies certified by the non-profit B Lab that meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. B Corp status is to business what Fairtrade certification is to coffee. This non-profit started over 14 years ago to provide certification to for-profit companies that voluntarily agree to meet the high standards of environmental and social accountability.
From creating our revolutionary recycled tyre soles, to always working with our community to give back and making sure our factories are great places to work filled with natural light, music, fair wage and good vibes; here at Indosole, we are committed to maximising the benefits of the environment, community and staff in EVERY decision we make as a business.
We hold ourselves accountable to our commitment to use our business as a force for good and offer transparency in all that we do and being certified B-Corp is the most powerful way to showcase our commitment.
